It has been a little more then a week since I combined the queenless split with the other split I made from Demeter. It looks like all went well. I saw brood where there was none in the queenless split and didn't see much in the way of a fight when the two hives met. All that was left of the paper I used to separate the two is the rim of paper that was between the two boxes.

Looks like what you did worked!
I have one hive I have been trying to get to make a queen cell.... They went queenless because they swarmed from the house a few days before I did the cutout and didn't realize and they ended up with no brood, larvae or eggs after about 1 week.
The bees actually STOLE eggs from the neighboring hive and started a small cluster with 2 queen cells! They didn't use the frame of eggs I put in there 2 days ago aparently...
They stole eggs from another hive? Crazy, I have never heard of that happening! Bees are amazing.
